Layla Poet is a Sydney-based womenswear label by Layla Kangisser, exploring the intersection of traditional craft and modern design. Drawing on her diverse heritage between east and west, and love of found vintage textiles, she designs for a woman of everyday moments, with small ready-to-wear capsule collections and utilising natural fabrics and fibres.

Each piece is created with fluidity in mind, balancing romantic, feminine expression with modern silhouettes and thoughtful detailing. Sometimes the whimsy takes over, but there will be technical details to ground it, or the design can focus on simplicity, but with a considered detail to bring it to life.
