Collection 01 was designed around the concept of ease, with romantic elements stripped back to functional.

Playing with silhouettes which can be edited by the wearer, as well as unexpected details, such as the adjustable waist on the slightly androgynous Romeo pant (inspired by my toddlers grow in-to pants), and the cropped, wide cuff on the Romeo blouse, reminiscent of Japanese workwear.

The vintage influence on the Amelie dresses was from a nightgown sourced at a secondhand market, with the added button placket and tie detail for access as a breastfeeding mother and also, because i love bows.

The floral embroidery and block print designs are inspired by traditional Mughal motifs with symmetrical botanical elements and also reminiscent of Laura Ashley upholstery in my memory growing up in London in the 90's, which brings that air of ditsy nostalgia.
